Kristin Chai

Kristin Chai is a graduate of Northwestern University, where she earned her Bachelor of Music in viola performance and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish.  While studying in Chicago, she was appointed principal viola of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago as a Civic Scholar of the George L. Shields Foundation, Inc.  She holds a Masters of Music degree from the Yale School of Music and has studied in Barcelona.  Kristin attended the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London as a Leverhulme Arts Scholar and recipient of the Pauline Holden Scholarship.  During her stay in London she was a participant in the Chipping Campden Festival Orchestra and gave solo and chamber recitals as well as orchestral concerts throughout central London.
