Hee-Jung Ko violin instructor Vienna Music Institute

Hee Jung Ko, a Korean-born violinist, was admitted to and graduated from the prestigious Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School, and Yonsei University in South Korea, where she achieved top-ranked admission and graduated first in her class. She has also been accepted to and studied at the world-renowned Juilliard School in New York.

She is a winner of several major competitions, including the Wol-Eum Music Competition, the Music Journal Competition, the Korea Times Music Competition, and the Composition Premiere at the Seoul International Music Festival. As a soloist, she has performed with the Korean Symphony Orchestra on two occasions, the Seoul Symphony Orchestra once, and the Yonsei Symphony Orchestra once.

Internationally, she was invited to the Courchevel Music Festival in France, where she participated in masterclasses and refined her artistry on a global stage. Her leadership and orchestral experience include serving as Assistant Concertmaster of both the Yewon Orchestra and the Seoul Arts School Orchestra, and as Concertmaster of the Yonsei Orchestra. She is passionate about nurturing young and amateur students, dedicating herself to guiding the next generation of musicians.
