Born in San Francisco, Mr. Soohoo began violin lessons at the age of four.  His former teachers have included Zaven Melikian and Daniel Kobialka.  He is a recipient of the Merit Scholarship at the University of Southern California where he earned his Graduate Certificate under Eudice Shapiro and Suli Xue and earned his Bachelor’s of Music at the University of California, Irvine under Haroutune Bedelian.  He has been on faculty at Vienna Music Institute since 2007 and currently resides in Irvine, California.
